Dear colleagues,
I would greatly appreciate any information (references) regarding the
pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of triamcinolone acetonide
(Kenalog) and methylprednisolone acetate (Depo-Medrol) following
intralesional injection (e.g. into hypertrophic scars). I'm mainly
interested in the rate and extent of absorption following this route of
administration, and in the duration of their effects on the
hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenala axis.
