I'm interested to perform some studies with diabetic pis (minipigs). Does
anyone some information how to induce that state (diabetes)?

A single 150 mg/kg injection of streptozotocin has been used to make pigs
permamently diabetic.

-- Canavan, JP, et. al.  Diabetologia (1997); 40: 1125-1134.

Another compound, alloxan, has also been used successfully in several
species to create a permament diabetic state.
