Hi, I'm looking for a source of information on pd/pk of r-hu-GH in rats,
dogs or another animal model.
Anyone in this list knows some about that matter.
Thanks in advance.

Hello,
Here is a good reference for the PK/PD of GH.
Y.-N.Sun and W.J.Jusko. A pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic model for
recombinant human growth hormone effects on induction of insulin-like
growth factor I in monkeys. J Pharmacol Exp Ther. 1999
Jun;289(3):1523-32.

On of the confounds of GH measurement is that the amount and quality of the
binding/transport proteins significantly impact the PK and, more
importantly, the
PD of growth hormone. Some patients for example can have adequate GH, but the
transport protein is altered, causing paradoxical dwarfism.
