Dear Pharmpk friends:
I have data for plasma and urine. Plasma collected at midpoint. I have
three functions and four derivatives.
I have gfr values and urine flow rates for each time point. How should I
enter data in WinNONLIN? I have nvar 3 and ynum 3 before data in my model.
I have trouble running the model. Should I have boundaries?
Any suggestion(s) will be appreciated. Have a nice weekend. Thank you.

Raju - The way you enter your data may depend upon whether variables are
dependent (and associated with a fitted function in WinNonlin) or independent.
Dependent variables are always contained in one column. The data is linked to
the correct equation in your model by a 'function' variable. It is not
typically required to use the NVAR and YNUM commands in your model code when
you are running WinNonlin interactively. If GFR and or urine flow are
independent variables, you will use them in your model with the dta(n) array
varaible specification where n is the column number on your data set.
I am sorry that I cannot answer your question more completely with the details
that I have at hand. My best suggestion is to e-mail your model and a sample
data set to support.-a-.pharsight.com. One of our technical experts will be able
to respond to you in a timely fashion.
