Hello
I have a query on how do we handle missing data in Phoenix WinNonlin, In
WNL 5.2 we had an explicit option of converting missing values with
"."(dot) using Workbook edit option, whereas in PHX WNL we don't have
any such option of editing
I would be happy if anybody can help me in understanding how to handle
the missing values in PHX WNL
Regards
Kaushik

Hi Kaushik,
You can use the "Data Wizard" option for all data manipulations, which
is located in data.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,

Hi Harish,
As you've asked the question here also I'm including the link to my
response on the Phoenix user forum for others who might want to know and
discuss usage.

Kaushik, Phoenix has no explicit missing data value. If a numeric cell
is empty then it is treated as missing.
If you perform numerical operations on a column containing both numbers
and text then those cells which are not numbers are all treated as
missing. The advantage of this that I see is you can simply use your
data as it came from the lab, NS, BLQ, <10, all of these will be
treated as missing in graphs, NCA, Desc. Stats etc. but if listed in a
table the original value is still reported.
Best regards,
Simon.

Hi Kaushik,
Maybe you can directly input "Missing" to the raw data and then guide
the data into Phoenix WinNonlin, the system can not identify "Missing"
values, and this data (this time point) will be excluded when
calculating parameters.
Thanks,
Han
