At the beginning of June I mentioned that the list was moving to Colorado (along with me). After
retiring from the University of Oklahoma I've joined the School of Pharmacy faculty at the
University of Colorado in Aurora part-time. I will be helping with Academic Technology, PK teaching,
mentoring and research and other collaboration (Part-time ;-). Should be fun.
Until today I was VPNing back to Oklahoma to send out the list messages. Same software and server as
before but messages only once or twice a day.
Today I got word that my request for a list on the UC Denver list server was set-up. I've done a
little testing and I think it is workable but still rough around the edges. Individually you can set
to add [PharmPK] to the subject line. You can make other setting changes such digest mode, receiving
your own posts etc. I've uploaded all the addresses on the list as of today. However everyone is in
single message mode.
Message for the list should now be sent to PharmPK.at.lists.ucdenver.edu however I will check the other
address and forward message to the new list. I will revised the list home page at
http://ww.pharmpk.com/ with instructions on how to make changes. The new list will initially have an
automatically generated web archive. There is even some sort of newsletter mode but I'm not sure
what that does yet. To adjust your settings you will need to set-up a password for your email
address on the list.ucdenver.edu web page where you will make those changes. See 'Get Password' on
the right side of the page.
I will try sending out this message and then there is a new message from a subscriber to forward to
the list. Hopefully this won't be too disruptive.

Hello again.
The default is single message and without [PHARMPK] in the subject line. I have put together a FAQ
page to address these questions and also how to set a password so you can change options. See

Hi
The listserv seems to working OK with a few differences and one concern.
a) Editing messages (usually to remove phone numbers) is not easy it seems. Therefore for some
messages I am copying, pasting and sending them under my name but plan to include the 'real' senders
email address or name at the end of the message.
b) I sometimes get comments not meant for the list. I haven't found a way to delete these without
sending a reject message to the sender. There is probably a setting somewhere. Please don't feel bad
if you get one of these reject message. I will have read the message and appreciate the feedback.
c) The system is different so I may miss a message. Feel free to resend it after a reasonable time
if still relevant.
d) The concern. I notice a few messages are getting sent back because of spam blocking at the
'other' end. I hope it's not something PharmPK or I have done but we do tend to use bad words such
as 'drug'...
