Dear Members,
We are trying to perform montecarlo simulations of PK profiles of
digoxin in Caucasian population. However, the only Pop-PK model in
this population that I've found so far is the one described by Hornestam
et al (cited below). This model has several limitations: Main
limitations are they could not estimate IIV in central volume,
peripheral volume and Inter-compartmental Clearance, probably due to its
limited data
sampling, as they point out in the paper. Another question is that
weight does not appear as a covariate in Cl, when in all the models that
I've seen so far, weight is always a covariate, not only
of Cl, but also of Volumes and Inter-compartmental Clearance. So my
question is, whether there is, to the best knowledge of the members, any
other pop-PK model of digoxin in Caucasian population, to
the one mentioned above?
Thanks in advance,

Ricardo,
Here is another one in Japanese patients.
Clin Pharmacokinet 2001; 40 (10): 773-781
It has TBW as a covariate on CL, V1, V2, and Q. Hope it's useful.
