Hi, All:
Recently, I met a serial strange metabolic changes on a certain compound that several metabolites
were generated with mass shift of +6, -12, or +2 happened on pyridopyrizine part. Does anyone once
also meet this strange thing and know the possible structures of these strange metabolites?
Many thanks!
Jian

Hi Jian,
Which pyridopyrazine isomer was this and does it have any methyl
substituents?
Also: what do the exact masses indicate about the changes - i.e., did
the +6 represent a gain of two oxygens and a loss of two CH units?
Cheers,
Bob Clark

Hi Jian,
It seems that you have more than one reaction took place. If you have this book "Biotransformation
and Metabolite Elucidation of Xenobiotics" there is a table is shown mass shift, it may help you.

Hi,
I didn't know about previous post or discussions.
my first thoughts about your query are,
what is compound's purity? I mean what about any impurity present or side
product? If metabolites are weird then it can be the case where you are
looking at the metabolite of impurities (I am saying this just because I
encountered this kind of stuff before while working on metabolite
identification on MS)
Let me know if you feel this is going in right direction.
