PharmPK Discussion - Controlled-release preparations

I have a question regarding controlled/sustained release preparations and
the concurrent administration of laxatives.  Is anyone aware of a reference
that addresses potential or documented interactions?  In addition, I would
be interested in references regarding clinically significant changes in
release of drug in these preparations due to changes in environment (pH or
concurrent administration of fatty foods, etc).  I would be interested to
hear some discussion on this topic. Thank You
