Has anyone any information or hands-on experience regarding the binding of free
iodine to centrifree membranes (i.e., does it occur and if so, to what
extent).

Free iodine I2 might be expected to bind,adsorb and dissolve in some
plastics.  The charge on iodide or iodate may reduce this binding.
check with the manufacturer.
