Hi,Back to the Top
We are going to evaluate few ester prodrug. The main idea is to improve
the bioavil. of the active compound. Therefore, we are looking for the
stability profiles of these prodrugs in plasma or blood, in Simulated
gastric juice, and in the different segments of everted rat intestine.
Rodents have a higher esterase activity then primates. In
general, esterase activity exhibits marked differences Is there any
model with a closer esterase distribution to man?
Whole blood or plasma should be used to assess ester prodrug
stability?
